Candle Filter
The candle filter is a filter that uses a filter element as the skeleton, solid particles or filter aids as the filter medium, and uses pump pressure to achieve liquid clarification. It is an advanced filtration system that has been carefully designed and has reliable filtration effects. The filter cloth support tube is composed of a non-porous central tube and six porous tubes. The cross-section is plum blossom shape. The central tube can drain the accumulated liquid and reduce material waste.
Application Areas
1. Chemical industry: high-purity alumina filtration; solvent oil filtration; crude oil filtration; filter aid filtration; amine liquid desulfurization process filtration, etc.
2. Water treatment: heavy metal wastewater, mine wastewater, fluorine-containing wastewater; filtration of wastewater containing suspended solids in chemical production; filtration of river water, groundwater, river water, and swimming pool water.
3. Grease ink: industrial oil dewaxing, decolorization, fine filtration; hydraulic oil, mixed oil, diesel, kerosene, lubricating oil, transformer oil filtration, etc.

Process Flow
Pre-coating ⇒ Filtration ⇒ Pressing and discharging thick slurry ⇒ Backflushing and slagging ⇒ Cleaning filter element ⇒ Filtration
1. Filtration process: The clean liquid is filtered out through the filter element under pressure, and the solid particles accumulate on the surface of the filter element to form a uniform filter cake. The filter cake remains on the filter element due to its concave and convex contour and the continuously maintained pressure difference.
2. Slurry discharge process: At the end of the filtration cycle, the unfiltered residual liquid left in the filter tank must be drained out so that the residual filter cake can be further processed. Compressed gas, air or nitrogen must be introduced into the tank to continuously add slurry. Pressure to completely remove the residual liquid in the tank, part of it is removed from the clear liquid tank and part of it is removed from the residual liquid tank.
3. Drying of the filter cake: After cleaning, use gas, that is, cold air or hot air, nitrogen or steam, to continue the operation until the best possible residual moisture is achieved. If the filter cake needs to be dried, a bottom filter must be added at the bottom of the equipment. .
4. Filter cake unloading: After completing the filter slurry discharge, cleaning and drying the filter cake, introduce compressed air to start backflushing the filter element and the filter cake will fall off and be discharged from the slag discharge port.
5. Filter element cleaning: After the slag removal and discharging is completed, nitrogen, steam, clean water, hot water or filtered liquid is used to clean the filter element.
