Self-cleaning filter troubleshooting and solutions

DATE:2024-04-24 Number of views: 1 Source:1

Self-cleaning filters are important equipment for wastewater treatment and can lay a solid foundation for project quality. But how to repair the self-cleaning filter if it fails after running for a long time? In what aspects is it mainly reflected?

No.1: Water leakage occurs

Water leakage problems generally occur in the transmission shaft part of the filter (leakage in the cylinder and flange welding parts is not within this scope). There are basically two reasons for this problem, as follows:

1. The material or specifications of the transmission shaft sealing ring do not meet the requirements, so replace the sealing ring that meets the requirements.

2. The sealing ring wears out after long-term operation, causing the seal between the drive shaft and the filter body to be loose and water leakage occurs. In this case, replacing the sealing ring of the corresponding specification can solve the problem.

No.2: Automatic drain valve failure

The specific manifestation is that the drain valve does not move during automatic cleaning or the drain valve cannot be opened and cannot be closed.

1. When this problem occurs, a domestic solenoid drain valve is usually used. This solenoid valve is a pilot type. The solenoid first opens the pilot hole, and then relies on the pressure of the water in the system to open the diaphragm to open the valve.

2. Since the wastewater contains many impurities, it is very easy to block the pilot hole, causing the solenoid valve to not operate or not to close tightly after opening.

3. Choosing an electric ball valve or a hydraulic solenoid valve as the drain valve completely solves the problem that ordinary solenoid valves are prone to malfunction as self-cleaning filter automatic drain valves.

No.3: Self-cleaning control system failure

Frequent startup causes problems such as increased cleaning water volume and shortened filter life.

1. This problem is generally caused by the parameter settings of the filter not complying with the working conditions.

2. This is mainly a problem with the cleaning pressure difference value and cleaning time interval set by the pressure difference controller. If the filter cleaning system starts frequently, control system problems can generally be solved by setting a larger pressure difference value and time interval.

Note

Self-cleaning filters do not require maintenance unless problems arise? In fact, self-cleaning filters require regular maintenance and repairs. The purpose of this is to ensure that equipment failures can be detected and dealt with in time, so that the self-cleaning filters can last for a long time. Stable operation.
