Application of fiber ball filter in oilfield wastewater treatment
Product Information
1. The diameter of fiber balls is relatively small, and the surface area per gram can reach up to 2000 square meters. After effective superposition, the porosity can be guaranteed to be higher than 80%, and the interception effect is better than traditional filter materials.
2. The fiber ball filter is hydrophilic and does not stick to oil. When exposed to water, a large number of water molecules will gather on the surface of the fiber, forming a layer of water film on the surface, which provides a good isolation between oil and fiber balls. layer.
3. Through backwashing, the oil on the surface of the fiber ball can be cleaned, which has renewable properties.
Working Principle
When using fiber ball filters to filter sewage, suspended solids will accumulate on the surface of the medium and form filter cakes through processes such as bridging and filtration, which improves the accuracy of filtration. At the same time, the pores of the filter material will also be reduced, increasing the resistance to filtration.
When the resistance increases to a certain level, the bridging relationship will be impacted by subsequent suspended particles and then destroyed. New larger suspended particles will replace the destroyed bridging relationship and continue to filter the suspended matter in the oily sewage.
Project Proposals
In the treatment of oily wastewater in oil fields, there is a problem of substandard sewage water quality. There are many factors causing this situation, the most important of which is the filter problem. Filtration is the last resort to remove suspended solids and oil, that is, it intercepts and adsorbs suspended particles, oil, and algae contained in sewage in order to meet corresponding standards. The use of fiber ball filters can effectively improve the treatment effect.
As a new type of fine filtration equipment for oilfield sewage, fiber ball filters have obvious advantages: including hydrophilic and oleophobic, large surface area, high porosity, and good regeneration performance. The advantages are even more obvious in the treatment of low-permeability oil layer sewage, and can Achieving high-precision filtration plays an important role in improving the sustainability of oilfield development operations.
